Intermediate and Advanced Sailing Camps

Youths that complete the Beginning Sailing Camp qualify to register for the Intermdiate Sailing Camp. Upon completion of the Intermediate Sail Camp, youths qualify to register for an Advanced Sailing Camp. Both the intermediate and advanced sailing camps allow participants to further develop their sailing skills and knowledge as well as continue to improve their helming skills in an O’pen Skiff. The Advanced Sailing Camp will introduce camp participants to a sloop-rigged sailboat that requires a crew of three- a helmsman and two jib trimmers. This camp will also include a significant amount of racing.

To apply for either the Intermediate or the Advanced Sailing Camp, download and send the application available on the page listed as Application- Summer 2026 Learning to Sail Camps. The prerequisite for Intermediate Sailing Camp is completion of a Beginning Sailing Camp. Registration for the Advanced Sailing Camp requires completion of both the Beginning Sailing Camp and the Intermediate Sailing Camp.
