ADVANCED SAILING CAMP

Youths that complete the introduction to sailing camp qualify to register for one of two advanced sailing camps. Both advanced camps will allow participants to further develop their sailing skills and knowledge as well as continue to improve their helming skills in an O’pen Skiff. Advanced Sailing Camp II will introduce camp participant to a sloop-rigged sailboat that requires a crew of three- a helmsman and two jib trimmers. This camp will also include a significant amount of racing.

To apply for one of the Advanced Sailing Camps, download and send the application available on the page listed as Application- Summer 2026 Learning to Sail Camps. The prerequisite for Advanced Sailing Camp I is completion of an Introduction to Sailing Camp. Registration for the Advanced Sailing II Camp requires completion of both the Introduction to Sailing Camp and the Advanced Sailing I Camp.
